It’s time to sell off my car. Wanted to know what’s a fair price for it. Will be selling as-is. We drive it locally...

2006 VW Golf GLS TDI (Black)
PD engine (MK4 Body style)
366,400 kms
Automatic

Most of my work was done with Brandon @ DCB Auto.

The good

Timing belt kit replaced at 320K
Glow plugs replaced
Power steering rack replaced
A radiator fan was replaced
Leather heated seats
Heated mirrors
Sunroof fully functions
3 spoke steering wheel
VW city golf head unit (usb/aux ports)
Husky Floorliners F+R
GTI tail lights
Skid plate
Dog mount for turbo
Struts replaced, 355k
Wheel bearings replaced, 355k

The bad

Hood switch stop working
Driver front door lock sticks
Rear hatch switch stop working
Cannot unlock/lock any doors with keys
E-brake doesn’t work
Solenoids/speed sensor need replacing

I have no interest in parting it out. What’s a fair price? Would like to know before posting up on Kijiji.

Going to go look at this wagon soon and need some advice on what to offer. They are flexible on price.
-2003 Alh 5 speed, GLS leather, sunroof etc.
-only rust is a small spot on the rocker
-500k on body, 190k on motor (timing belt failure)
-city car, so no backroad driving, used to commute.
-needs brakes and a battery. I've got a tons of parts and a donor vehicle.

If interior looks very good I would give $500 or else less than that.

If it runs and drives, body in decent shape.. Gotta be worth a $1000 anyways. Not too many mkivs for under $500 that are not timing belt broken or auto trans blown.

I don't see diesel wagons anywhere for that kind of money. There is one that sold on Kijiji that's rotten and they want $2800 with 370k.
