Offer with loan

My time line goes 9/18, 10/19,and 11/23 with a private loan. I'm not sure when I'm going to confirm the offer still want to know what the fix is going to be for my 20014 Jetta. My wife and I are waiting for the 3rd row seating Tiguan to be available for a test drive. So I'm not in any hurry to sell my TDI back. I still don't know if I should confirm the offer and just keep kicking the buy back appointment down the road or do I just sit on the offer.

My car was sent in mid September with doc approval, well green check mark on web site, as of 10/20. My banker just texted me they called in for my payoff.

Wife got her offer last Friday, sounds like mine will be coming next week, if not this weekend.


The bad thing is VW dealers will now be back logged because VW is not getting the offers approved. They are only doing one process at a time, it looks like.

So, yeah we will have offers but we have to wait for those to be approved, then wait again because the dealer will be busy.

This is absolutely out of control. It was one thing when they weren't doing any offers on cars with loans and we were all waiting. Now they are, but still no understandable process. Myself and others had docs accepted 10/18 or earlier yet no offer, while those weeks later have received them. VW called for payoff on 11/4! Un****ingbelievable.

Gosh, what a nice car! Made me forget I may get an offer letter soon (approved docs 10/18) and I will have to schedule a turn in day. That will be a sad day. Somehow, I feel that the offer letter can take its sweet time getting here.

Feel exactly the same way about my A3s. They are terrific little cars, smooth and quiet, built like tanks, fun to drive. But considering the profit margin on both, I'll get over it.

It really does make me want to know exactly what's going on behind the scenes to make the dates be all over the calendar. Very unpredictable and inconsistent.

The notification that the offer is available comes from that address. To get the actual offer, you log into the portal and download the PDF file with the document.

My docs were also approved on 10/26 and when I called the hotline last week I was told I would receive my offer by this Wednesday. I'm not holding my breath.

Still waiting. Documents accepted on 10/19/2016. I tried to call the claims hotline but it says "We are unable to take your call at this time. Please try again later". I am becoming very annoyed at this point. The class lawyer told me I should get an offer by 12/1 ...I am not holding my breath out of fear I may die.

I'm in the same boat too. My docs were approved on 10/25 and I'm still waiting. I called last week too and they told me it should be this week and to keep checking the portal for updates.

If I check the portal anymore than I already do it may take a restraining order out against me...

I just got off the phone with the claims rep. She advised me that an offer was generated and sent to me on 11/22. I advised that I didn't receive it and she advised they may have mailed it out. I told her I checked my junk email and the first two emails were received without a problem. She said she is going to note my account that I have not received the offer yet. She said to give it three business days. It took me most of today to get a claims rep on the phone

The offer letter I received yesterday was dated 11/22, but the email was sent yesterday afternoon at about 2:00 PM EST. And it wasn't on the portal previously; I'd logged in over the prior few days to check. May be what you're seeing.

When I called after 15 days when portal said 10 days I will get the offer he said they have been running 20 business days. 10 for VW and 10 for auditor. I am financed with vw credit.
