Why? Why'd you have to post this? :D:mad:
I figure it's only right for everyone to share in my joy. :)

At this point the only thing that would give me actual joy is if VW went out of business the second the last buyback/restitution check cleared. They deserve it after this ****show.

Man I am right there with a few of you guys on all these dates, but still nothing.
I hope this is a trend, but with my luck because of the holidays starting on Wednesday, I won't hear back for at least a week.
Same here. It's like Bozo's Grand Prize Game. All our names in the wire drum being pulled out randomly.

HAHA I actually get this reference. Yeah, my data usage on my phone has gone through the roof because I refresh my email 100 times a day, even though it auto-refreshes. I also check my spam box even though VW is set as a safe sender.

Does anyone know whether VW is reaching out to lenders to get payoff quotes before they issue an offer?

I have a loan from Audi Financial (assume that's basically the same as VW Credit). Today they said they haven't yet received a payoff quote request. My docs were uploaded 10/18 and accepted/approved on 10/25.

Yes, they are one and the same. I have a loan with Audi and a loan with VW Credit and both show as "VW Credit" in my bank account when they take the money out.

Cool. Thanks. So it's probably more efficient and informative to find out if any progress is being made by calling Audi Finance everyday, rather than wasting time with the VW claims folks.

Yep. I call my Credit Union daily to check. Just makes me madder, but it gives me something to do. :D

Well, at one time late last week, the claims website message was that I would get an "offer within 10 days" and now the message is this:

We have reviewed all of your documents. Currently, your application contains all the necessary documentation to determine your eligibility. We are now determining your eligibility and will inform you whether you are eligible to participate in the Settlement Claims Program and, if applicable, will provide you with a final offer.
Where did the 10 days message go?

So they have the resources to change the wording on everyone who is waiting for offers but not to actually follow the schedule they agreed to? This is a low move by Volkswagen, they have just guaranteed I will never buy a new VW ever again. FU Volkswagen!!

I don't understand why you're not being honest. They never changed anything.
