With the amount of motorcycles and various other stuff I pick up I've decided I need a pick up truck. Odd forum this type of request but perhaps someone has or knows of something.

So I'm looking for an old Chevy K30 6.2L or Ford F350 6.9/7.3L must be dually and manual.
Prefer single cable, long/regular bed but will entertain others.
North East preferred.

Thanks

Smart man! Go with the Ford unless you get a really good deal on the 6.2. I have both, and to be honest I prefer the 6.9 out of them all. But with a 7.3 at least you get a 5 speed manual.

Also keep a look out for 6.5 GM Turbo trucks... they are getting way cheaper.

And here I thought by your title you wanted a rabbit pickup diesel.
I would like one of those as well. But I'm not paying the going rate (3,000+ for a beat to hell one that needs floor pans, strut towers and inner fender work, those sellers are high and I would like what they are smoking)

Yes. Anything before the B4 Passat TDI in the USA is inefficient diesel injection (IDI), 1.6 and 1.6TD and very early 1.5D.
Ok it really stands for indirect injection but still.
they do alright with a turbo, even without. i got 19-20 over a 700 mi roadtrip to pick up a straight six. i love the simplicity.

If your interested I have a 94 IDI factory turbo regular cab Ford dually. It is an automatic but I believe I have all of the parts to swap in a 5spd. It's a good truck in very good condition, I've had it since 98. I hate to sell it but I dont use it anymore except for a backup

Need more lil diesel trucks

That is exactly what I thought!!
I have been driving my 2003 wagon since march (last year)and decided to sell my powerstroke, 1997 crew, because 47mpg is better than 17mpg.
But because I needed a truck sometimes I picked up a 2003 Tacoma with 166,000m, + put a TDI emblem on it!-(to confuse people and wishful thinking)
By the way you could find a Hilux engine and put it in a Tacoma.
