NW Richmond, VA gets diesel friendly station

A new Kogers went up on Rt. 33 just west of the Parham road intersection.

Decided to try it since the price $3.72 was much lower than anything else in the area.

Swiped my Koger's card and while I don't think I had any discounts on it, price still dropped to $3.62. Maybe a temporary thing to help 'establish' the customer base?

However, unlike most stations where we're the odd child out with a diesel hose or 2 here or there, EVERY lane has a diesel hose on the pump closest to the road. that's about 6-8 fueling locations for us. Badged as 40 cetane, but seems comfortably higher than that in my CR.

Of course, everything is fresh, new, and clean.

Fuel continues to be $3.62 cash with Kroger card.

Number of diesel locations is 10, one for each lane on pump closest to the road.

thanks for the update Scoutx. Went by there yesterday but traffic was heavy and couldn't check it out. Looks like we have a new place to buy diesel on 33.

Saw another of these stations.

At Willow Lawn shopping center near intersection of Rt33. with Rt250, the Kroger there just opened up another fuel station.

Again, a diesel hose in each of 10 lanes.
Pump closest to the road again.

Price isn't as good. $3.85 or $3.82 with Kroger's card.

Diesel is 3.62 at Sheets in Dahlgren on Rt301

Interesting, but D2 in the Richmond area tends to start at $3.85 and go up from there, so $3.62 is quite a price drop from what you normally see within Richmond.
