I know people usually post here with issues or problems for input and advice, but is anyone like me with 99% satisfaction and not one problem with their GSW, or any 2015 for that matter?

My vehicle is an important tool, because I need it to get around for my employment, so 1st priority for me is dependability...hope this continues, just turned 32,000 in the last 17 months

Good deal. That being said...only on a VW board is a vehicle making it to the two model year old/32k mile mark without an issue a noteworthy event.

Not one problem in 32K miles, well good for you...my 2015 Golf TDI S has the issues your car missed.

Last September: Defective A/C compressor.

Last week: Check engine light stays on. Several sensors were replaced in past few days. Plus, wiring harness underneath car being chewed up by critters. (pack rats?)

Yesterday: Check engine light is on again, so back to the dealership.

I traded off a '06 Honda Accord, 4 dr, 6 speed manual for the TDI.

In the eight years of ownership, the Honda needed three batteries, a set of tires and one rear window lift. Fuel mileage was dismal, but ride was more comfortable than the Golf.

Hindsight being 20/20, I should have stayed with Honda...

Critters chewing the harness anywhere could be a nightmare, and likely the cause for all of your CELs. You worded as though that was in addition to the CELs, when it was likely the cause. No fun either way!

50k miles and not a worry in the world with my Golf. 30k on her GSW and flawless as well.

I actually expect at least one problem with a new vehicle, which would be your A/C compressor. The rest doesn't sound like a manufacturer problem.

Yeah, there are good ones out there like mine for example, original everything down to Turbo and yes even brake rotors and pads. I ditched DPF at 180k, it was about 3/4 full. now chugging at 232k miles.

I'm on 3rd battery. 2nd Interstate. OEM lasted 2 years in harsh FL climates. 4th set of tires and 3rd set of rims. OEM rims didn't last long, bent and vibrated like there's no tomorrow. last set of steelies was bent but didn't vibrate too bad but gotta go. Now she drives like new. just ordered Bilstein HD shocks, rotors and pads and CP3 fuel pump.

I know my car isn't a Mk7, just you know there are good ones out there. I've had 3rd AC compressor, VW only said they are bad but actually no... it's the danged RCV. If i knew about this danged RCV a while back, I would still be on my original compressor for sure.

Good to hear. Of course your car is just broke in.:D

I was admiring the EA288 engine until Dieselgate scared the ever loving "stuff" out of me. Still, baring any problems, the EA288 looks like somewhat of a leap forward in technology.

How often does it regen and how hot under the hood does it get?

So far I have only noticed the regen process 3 times, I drive 40 miles one way to work almost all on the freeways so maybe more regen happened during that time, the times I noticed it scared the heck out of me with the metal/rubber burning smell, pretty intense.

1 year, 2 months, zero problem.
Absolutely like this car.
Now that the Texas weather is cooling down and don't need much AC in the evening, my driving home at 8-9 pm with little traffic, regularly get indicated 50+ and sometimes 60 mpg- indicated. Even if my dash MPG readout is optimistic, it is still fantastic.
I will have a hard time giving it back to VW.
