Lol 7hr drive from me. A little less then 500mi. I would definitely be in trouble if I came home with it.

Do you think mileage is really that low? I wish there was an engine bay shot to know if its turbo charged or not.

If stock its idi. No turbo. I'd bet the odo doesn't work, or more than likely rolled over.

I know it's idi but was wondering turbo or not. I had a '86 Jetta GL Turbo Diesel and knew that the same variant came non-turbo as well. You're probably right about the odo. On my '86 it stopped working at 315k km, however the car kept on going for another 5 years and further after I sold it.

Didn't figure it would last long. Wouldn't ve surprised to see it up here for sale in MN or WI for $4k in the next month or so.
I was going to buy it after i did some checking and found i could have it trucked to my door for 630$. Too slow i guess

I hope it went to a true enthusiast and not someone who will hoodstack it and beat it up. It lived too long to go out like that.
Unfortunately thats the way it usually goes.
