2011 BMW 335d with 72K miles in excellent condition. Purchased in 2017, not driven in winter. Always garaged. Full service at 60K including transmission service, oil and filter at 70K. Michelin tires with less than 10K. Less than 5K ago it got Koni Special Actives and full M3 control arm replacement, along with new brake rotors and pads. Rpcketchip tuned, all emissions intact, no codes. I typically get 32-35 MPG. Fast, fun to drive. I simply don't use it enough. $14,500 OBO.

Thanks. I've enjoyed this car, and it's been trouble free during my ownership.

Just curious, what are the advantages of 335d over say a Jetta or Passat of the same vintage? My goal in life is to have a reliable car.

Completely different car. Front engine, rear drive for starters. Inline 6 engine instead of a 4 cylinder. Compound turbos. Tuned this car is making about 330 HP and 505 ft./lbs. So there's that.

For me the big deal, aside from the quiet, smooth, endless power, is the steering and handling. I have M3 control arms in this car with Koni Special Actives. Steering feel, turn in, and grip is a different world from my FWD VWs.

I wish it were a manual, but BMW didn't have a strong enough manual that would fit in the e90 platform. I do like that it has a traditional torque converter automatic: much smoother than a DSG.

That's very nice, does that use Def fluid? I'll be looking for a buggy to keep in FL after the renovation here. I'm leaving the hybrid here when I head north for the summer this year.

Yes, it uses DEF. To me that's a benefit. Allows better emissions tuning. I've only had to add DEF twice in 24K miles.

Nice car but doesn't fit my needs. Now if it were a diesel SUV....

If I could find a clean Mercedes GL diesel with oil cooler seals renewed I'd consider it. Or a similar Q7 TDI. But for the number of times I need 3 rows I think I'm better off renting.

I'd rather have something the of the Q5 size but they didn't offer a diesel. I might look for a Jeep but also know the diesels were not used in large quantities and they're all under recall to replace the hpfp.
