No more 12V after traction button install?

I installed the v.2 traction control button on my 2013 Jetta TDI last friday. Everything went easier than expected. Took me about 15-20 minutes and the button worked right away. The v.2 traction control button is different from the v.1. The 12V is taken in between the 12V socket and it's harness It makes the installation even easier than before (just unhook the 12V harness, plug the traction button harness on one end and the other back into the 12V socket). The joy was short lived when I went to plug my phone into the 12V socket. Nothing happened. The second 12V socket in the rear works like a charm but the one in the front doesn't work anymore. I verified there wasn't any loose connection, everything looks good. The button works great. This is really annoying as I always charge my phone while driving and use it for Torque Pro & GPS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Do you have a multimeter to test connections? If you had power before and you dont now it has to be one of the connections you made (if the button works). if the button in fact isnt working it could be as simple as a fuse.

Thanks for the reply, I solved the problem. The pins inside the white connector weren't firmly held in place. I had to push them back in one by one. Everything is working great now.

Where did you get your switch and related wiring??
