No Low Beams

I lost my low beams in my ‘12 Jetta. The high beams work, but I don’t have lows even after replacing the bulbs. I seen on another thread where they were moving pin 3 to 7 on the headlight switch, so I tried that and it didn’t work either. Any suggestions or what I should be looking for?

Just checking that you measured them, as opposed to just looking at them? They can develop micro-cracks that won't be visible but lead people on wild goose chases. :)
Hopefully it’s not that.😕 I’m leaning that it’s not a fuse because it’s both headlights and from what I’ve seen on the fuse schematics there is a left and right fuse. Unless I’ve been looking at the wrong schematic.

Bought a new headlight switch and that didn’t fix the problem. What should I try next? Does anyone know where to get the fuse schematic, so I know I’m looking at the correct one?

Unless it's different from my MK4 there are 6 fuses to deal with. There is one fuse for left low beam, a fuse for left high beam, and left side parking light(front and rear). This is the same for the right side.

If the fuses verify good, checking with an ohm meter, then it could be related to the high beam stalk.

From what I can tell all the fuses are good.
Did you just look at them or test for power getting to the fuse and going out on the other side of the fuse?
There were a load of bad plugin fuses that had a bad internal connection and power would pop it instantly.
My old boss in the auto parts warehouse bought a ton of them.
When people brought back because they were bad he blamed it to a short burning them out.

There are just too many to list....
You need to use a scan tool... one that speaks Volkswagen. Go in and access the Central Electronics or whatever it is addressed as, that controls all the lighting on the car. All the lights are controlled by this module, solid state... there are no relays, this isn't the '80s. You need to "see" what this module is seeing. If it doesn't see the signal from the headlight switch, it won't turn the lights on.

Test the bulb socket if you are not getting any power on it. Some shops offer code scanning for free in hopes you will buy parts.

oilhammer,
I guess my 2014 JSW would fall under this also?
Module controls the head lights?
Or am I missing something? (again)
I'm sure my 2024 Atlas is all modules.
The head lights auto turn on, high or low beam as needed.
If a car is coming towards me it auto dims.
Dang car is smarter the me.

It's going to take me a while to get use to the car steering automatically on the highway to stay in the lane.

I've not had to mess much with the Atlas, but I assume it uses a BCM under the UDS protocols like the newest other VAG cars do.

You'd have to tag the Gateway Installation List to see what all modules it has, assuming it still has that Gateway.

Hey everyone, work has had me busy the past few weeks so I haven’t been able to work on the car. Was checking power to the fuses and determined, I’m not getting power to F37 & F38 if I’m reading the diagram correctly, I did test with known good fuses to double check. What is upstream that wouldn’t be letting power to them?

Pull your bulbs out. A few months after purchasing my '12 model, one morning, no headlights. Both bulbs were burnt out. How/ why, I have no idea, as I've never come across both low beams going bad at the same time on anything, but a new set of bulbs and it's been working fine for months now.

That was the first thing I did, was replace the bulbs, it didn’t change anything.

Manure happens. ;)
I had both of my brake lights go out one night.
Got the dash light about it.
Of course that was the night the police noticed it.
PBA card saved me.
