No glow plug light wont start

No glow plug light is a classic symptom of relay 109 failure. However I see you have a 2005 and a European model to boot. 109 failure is not so common a problem on the 05 models here in the states, it typically plagued 98-02 or 03 models. I would check the fuse block on top of the battery for melting, one of those wires the second or third in from the big black/red battery wire is a glow plug fuse. If everything checks out there you might try the 109 relay, it's up under the dash, in the US models above the drivers feet, I'm not sure if its on the passenger side or drivers side for you guys.
