No Blower fan on any setting

Hoping someone else may have experienced this issue. Car was fine one day, next day sit down and at any fan speed settings nothing comes out of the vents. I think the switch is still fine, if I dump it down to 0/off I can hear a behind dash click. If I change from feet to face to defrost I can also hear the flapper change. On older VWs I know that if it was specifically the blower resistor that it would still work on the highest settings. Nothing on 1-6 is working for me. I have tried to track down fuse diagrams. Lots of european fuse diagrams according to google, but seemingly a lot of different model information out there. Car is a 2014 NMS Passat.

My current thoughts are some relay, or the blower motor itself, but am really trying to dig a bit deeper before tearing things apart, and would love to build a discussion if anyone has troubleshooting thoughts/advice.

when the resister goes bad the fan only will work in one position, when the fan goes bad it won't work at all, change the fan and resister
