Hey guys, I'm so close to getting a TDI, hope to be selling the S2K very soon. That in mind, I've always been a big fan of EDM/JDM swaps. I did it with my old TSX and thoroughly enjoyed the outcome. I've done some light searching here and have had no luck on google. Where is a reputable place to buy the parts for EDM rebadging, GTI bumpers, and grills? Basically, I don't want the TDI that I get to look like a plane TDI. Thanks! Also, if there is a subforum for aesthetics, I missed it.

EDM is not Ricer. It's basically like converting your USDM model to look like the EDM or JDM model car. Sometimes, its a simple rebadging. Other times it goes as far as changine out the bumpers, grill, etc. No body kits, no wings, no neon lights. Its all pure, clean, and simple.

Check the upgrades (non engine) forum. The best search word will be "Euro" and USDM, EDM, JDM will rarely be used as terms. Your ability to swap to Euro parts will depend on what year/model (Mark) car you buy (there is no European exact match to our Jetta VI).

VWVortex is a much better place for threads and how-to's on swapping to Euro-look items. TDIClub, in terms of mods, formerly tended to be more focused on euro mods that were connected to electronics, engine, lighting, technology, etc.

I took the advice and am checking it out. I'm used to car forum users knowing about the different domestic markets and conversions, so I apologize for making the assumption.
