Just got home. Sara is sick with the flu and won't be joining us this year. :(

If Tomo wants to ride up with us, we'll take the Benz (with snow tires). If it's just Jason and I, we'll take the Jetta (also with snow tires).

Does anyone that is going to this GTG have a terminal release tool? Its the only tool I don't have which apparently I will need to install the rear fog trigger wire. I am not sure where to get one locally.

I'll bring the B4 up: It's finally adjusted to running at 75 MPH. Yes, Jack, I do drive it 75.

Peter/Corey,

What time is the first IDParts vehicle coming up?

(UPS is not coming through for me today.)

Lift time is critical for MikeS as there is a big job waiting after his use.

I've got a back-up plan. Changing the caliper is the key thing (and I have the caliper already), if I have to get some pads from Sannell today or come back and change an iffy hardline another day its no big deal. I'll stick with the schedule or do my work on jack stands.

and it's in manchester as of 5am. I wonder if it might make a truck today - UPS might have made us a 2 day location when before we were overnight. :(

I was planning on getting there before 11. Mike, you know you're going to have rusty and broken bolts and your car won't come apart, so I doubt you'll be waiting for us.

@ Mike S....If you have an iffy brake hardline, I can bring my hand-held hydraulic brake line flaring tool. Not sure if I have a bender though....I'm sure someone has if the line is an issue. If you can bring new line, I have some new fittings & steel unions that I will pack with tools later today...

:p

How long did it take to clear the engine of carbon so you could go that fast?
Surprizingly the intake was clean, and the car has no evidence of CAT clogging. And just to further rustle Jack, Mike (co-worker) was pulled over for driving 85 on his way to the Fest.

Dave, thanks but no need. I am not sure it's weeping - but since I was in there I wanted to replace it. It's the last hardline with the flex connect to the caliper. Pete is bringing one in case I need it - I suspect I can forgo it.

I plan on attending.
FREE Stuff:
I am bringing a unwanted, MK IV Jetta driver's arm rest with bracket and caps, in great working condition, tan in color, up for grabs to the most neediest with lazy arm fatigue syndrome.
FOOD:
I am cooking up some oriental chicken soup.

We arrived about an hour ago - the drive up couldn't have been better. We took 95 most of the way and the trip was 8 hours on the nose with no traffic.
