Welcome! Nice looking car!
I suggest not using the site search and just open google to search for what you are looking for. Not being snarky, the local search is not real good. I find that google usually points back here most of the time when I search.I am searching away on the forum, but it looks pretty dead. Is there a better resource for these little monsters?

I bet there are more specific sites that deal with Audi, but may be limited with regard to TDI. I imagine it depends on what you are looking for. Suspension stuff seek an Audi A3 page, Motor stuff may be here??
What are you looking for?
{Welcome back DavidR8!}

Just a friendly piece of info, You can highlight a part of a post and you will see a box to quote the message in your next post. You can even stack the quotes or use in another thread. {just don't forget to remove ones you didn't use, if you change topics} You will see a button to 'add quotes' at the bottom of your post input box. This is very useful in busy threads so you can highlight the part of a post to which you refer.In general, just info.

That car will have an ALH engine, which does not have a lift pump in the tank. The first steps I would try is to bleed the fuel lines which requires a vacuum pump to get fuel to the injector pump, followed by cracking open the lines at the injectors and cranking the engine to bleed the high pressure lines. There's plenty of writeups on here of how to do this that can be found with the search function.Hello! My daughter got herself a 03 Jetta TDI. She had the oil pan changed (preexisting issue), and now it won’t start. It cranks, but won’t fire, no smoke. We did crack the fuel line into the fuel filter from the tank, and it’s dry. I’m not a mechanic, but I’m just trying to gather info on how to help her. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!
