Just bought a pair of TDI Jettas one is a 99 with 400k on the body and around 200K on the motor and the other is a 02 has 285K on it both cars are 5 speeds price was reasonable enough and came with a spare fairly complete motor and trans so figured might as well dive into them and have good first car for my 16 year old son and the other will eventually be for my soon to be 14 year old son.
On the 99 i got the intake off to clean it as it was almost completely plugged up was told by previous owner the clip that holds the turbo actuator on was missing and it pops off every so often so figured now would be the time to replace it. any idea as to what size clip that would be can see the groove for what i am assuming is a c clip to slide into but cant seem to find that particular clip when looking at diagrams.
