New to me 2015 Golf Sportwagen.

Hey all! Just became the owner of an 2015 Golf Sportwagen TDI SEL automatic. One owner car with 70k miles on it.
I've previously owned a 98 Jetta and an 05 Jetta wagon. Both were TDI and manuals. This is my first auto.

Any good threads you can link me to read up on would be great! TIA
Here's a few topics that come to mind...

• Maintenance schedule (best oil / trans fluids?)
  • I've never conducted any fluid analysis. I've always been a 5k oil change and tire rotation person.
• performance/fuel economy upgrades
• common issues?

LOVE the car so far. ~41 mpg and the trim package is so nice.

I don't have a DSG, but if I did, I'd use VW or equivalent fluids.

For engine oil, most of the VW spec 507.00 oils are terrific choices, and can be had for reasonable prices:

My suggestion is to stop changing the oil at 5K and follow the 10k OCI. In 95% of situations, changes at 5k are a waste of money and resources.

I'll let a search reveal more thorough answers to mods, but be aware the some mods may endanger your extended emissions warranty, which is one of the most valuable aspects of your Mk7.

Consider a DSG tune - on my previous car, it was one of the best upgrades I did (sold it when I found a 6MT Mk7 GSW).
