I've been making it a point to finally join a local TDI group. I need a good group for moral support when it keeps breaking :/
But seriously, Miami? Aren't there any central florida people out there? Anyways, if there's still a 'list', whoever is in charge now send me a pm and I'll supply my information. Doesn't seem like the new guy is too interested any more.

It would be nice to get a small central Florida meetup going. Probably some guys from down south a bit, and guys from up north a bit may be able to attend. Perhaps meet in Port St. Lucie Florida right off of I95 on Gatlin Blvd at Tradition. They have some space in the grass there that they have car shows at periodically that may work well. I know at least a couple guys from my direct area would show up.

I agree, central FL needs a more active community.

that's about an 1hr 15 for me. I could swing that. Wouldn't want to drive more than that though for an avg meet though.

Would sure be nice to get together and visit with everyone. We could also bring parts and pieces to swap, give away and sell. I will personally enjoy seeing other TDIs and what other folks have done with them.

And we could pick a service to a car to be done every meeting as well. Give a chance for people that more experienced with TDI's to share their knowledge. Getting Pitboy to attend would be awesome.

Yes that's true! I have gained some experience I could share too. Not sure if we could handle your AC blend door issue in such a short time however

Depends on my day-off schedule when you decide to set it up. Currently I won't see any portion of a weekend until Aug/Sep.

I live in Tavernier...that's Upper Keys, and work in Miami. Both me and my gf would be interested in a meet down South FL. We both have '11 Jetta TDI's.

Got it done, no big issues. Followed the guide and everything went smoothly. Took a bit longer than I suspected and getting bit by a brown widow in the middle of it didn't help things much either....but it's done! Took my time wrapping more wires up and making my audio installation look stock. All came back together better than it came off (thank you JB WElD). No rattles! And I got a nice shiny torque wrench out of the deal too.
