New Owner 2011 Jetta TDI

Well I picked her up on 12-17-2010 got her for a great deal and I had the dealer throw in some extra stuff for free ( and i thought i sucked for negociating lol ) well here are some pics of her when I picked her up BTW it was the first 2011 TDI to be sold at that dealership and here in the Rio Grande Valley to boot, so I feel like a badass

Yeah I was probably the one in this forum that bashed the 2011 Jetta the most when it was first unveiled, but I have to admit when I cross one on the road it looks pretty sharp.

No fog lights, I though the TDI like the SEL the Fog Lights were included.

but us canadians pay $4000 USD more for the TDI. well, maybe $3970 USD more for the TDI, seeing as the canadian dollar is worth more than the greenback again.

Didn't know the '11 Jetta TDI was available yet in the US.

Bought mine on 12/20 and am loving it! Just in time to qualify for the $650 in tax rebated that are now expired. $24.8k before the rebate (no nav). First one off the boat in San Diego, and I haven't seen any others on the road yet.

US has two models just like the canadians. I think if you add NAV to the US model you get all the toys including the chorme and Kessy. Onlything they dont get is the 17's. They only get 16's.

mo_focus i am sure you are correct seeing a picture of flyerchic2000's car. vw.com needs to be updated to account for the styling change when selecting their NAV option. their configurator only shows the TDI without fogs and without the nice chromed front lines and valance. it's too bad they don't get 17s in the TDI model.

srry I haven't posted thanks for the comments and for jettawolfs98 I got wat I thought was a great deal, I payed out the door with ttl 27400, i didnt get it with nav (bought a tom tom lol )and dealer threw in free full tank of diesel, 7 yr Simonize interior and exterior protection (was present while they applied), full car tint (limo all around cuz I'm from south texas ) ohh and sum vw key chains lol

i know thanks but i wasnt sure if everyone was getting that simonize protection so i added it in there, so do you think that was a good price/deal?

Yeah site is not very clear, but for 1200$ US you get the following options but its only labeled as NAV. I think they updated thier site, bc if i pick NAV option and go to pick a colour then i do get the fogs and chrome showing up on the picture.
