The pic litterly shows nothing but where the folds are glued to start or end a batch....

Yeah that seems to be a bit of a problem on this forum!

Those little wavy ripples in the rubber end piece make no difference, as that surface is pressed against and conforms itself to, its hard mating surface.

They all pretty much look like that.

Can you tell us what part you are worried about?

Thanks everyone! Yes I do mean those wavy ripples on the inner lip just where the air box gasket meets the filter.You can feel them with your finger. The filter which I am using now and want to replace does not have those and I was woried the new one will not seal properly.
