Just a quick post to say hi, I'm new around here.
Last week I ordered a 2010 Golf TDI Highline in Deep Black Pearl.
It's fully loaded (by canadian standards) with sports leather seats, sunroof, RCD-510 with MDI and lots more...
This will be my first diesel car but not my first VW as I currently own a 2003 unitronic flashed 1.8T jetta.
I hesitated a lot between the GTI and the TDI but finally went with the rational choice, as I do over 32000 km a year. I will probably miss my 1.8T's power a little but I was really impressed with the performance of the TDI 140 engine.
The only downside is I have to wait 'til March 2010 to take delivery of this beauty... At least it's gonna give me the opportunity to save for a bigger down payment.
I feel it's gonna be a long winter...
