Assuming the hard lines are gutntight, you probably need to replace the pump head seal. Don't leave it too long, there are wires and hoses below the pump head which do not respond well to being soaked in diesel.

Not a hard job, just need to be detailed when you do it. Then check you IQ (injection quantity) with VCDS when done. Very likely you will only need the 2 big seals in the kit.
