Its time to hang out on the farm again! I had to do it a little later this year since the week leading up to Memorial Day is always a killer for me at work. I think I got a total of 5 hours of sleep all week last year before you guys got here. I have a bunch of garage space for jobs that will require getting underneath the car and there is always room outside to work under the hood as long as the weather cooperates. Pretty much all the same rules apply as the HO5G so I copied and pasted them with my modifications.

#1 – ALL newbie’s:
By newbie’s I mean all of you that I don’t know. Just because you’ve been here doesn’t necessarily mean we know you! You'll be required to ‘check in’ with us and get a name tag. This is my home and would like to know who’s here!

#2 – Food
Please watch for a food thread. I will post a list of suggestions – please watch for this and PARTICIPATE! If you don’t bring something, don’t expect to eat something!

#3 – Work
Garage space is first come, first served. Big jobs need to be cleared by me first. As always – NO timing belts unless done by a pre-approved (i.e. mrchill, HermTDI, Jolly Green Giant) club member. Those arrangements must be made in advance with me and the person doing the work.
Bring the tools and fluids that you'll need for the job!

I have a well and parts of my land are wetlands and a river so fluid spills are 100% unacceptable. I don't mind fluid changes but they must be contained and old fluids are to be taken with you. Scrap metal such as brake parts/drums and such can be left behind because I have a person that comes and picks it up.

Hours will be 9am to 12am.

Make sure to bring food and all the parts you need! It will be fun I'm sure and I can't wait to see everyone again!

Am I going to be alone in the garage all day again?

Count Jason and me in! I'll bring some lights for the garage and I'll man the grill if you guys want... hopefully getting it fired up a bit earlier than last year. ;)

I thought I had more pics from last year - guess I was wrong.

Oohhh, I have that weekend off too! May just have to make the trip down.

Love to see the C-10 since I have a '71 K20 at the house and love the body style.
Drive the 71 down! I think you'll like mine, just pulled it out of a barn and put a built 283 in it.

Sucks you can't make it Jason, didn't you know TDI GTGs are more important than weddings?

Yea we definitely have to start the grill during the daylight this year, haha. I lost that nice cherry tree that we sat under last year during the October snow storm we got so our picnic spot won't be as cool as last year :(

I might be there. It all depends on if I need to be at a baseball game that day with a non-TDI friend or not.

Am I going to be alone in the garage all day again?
I remember that, Mike. I felt bad that you were the only one working on a TDI.

I would really want to go, but it's the day before my wedding.. I'll be there in spirit LOL..
Sounds like a TDI Club bachelor party to me...

He was just here in the Rabbit: headed to Minnesota in it. I suspect he'll be back in time.

That was a lot of fun last year. We'll try to make it.

Might use the day to visit my mom in CT then come over.

Get a pole, tie a can of Coors Light or PBR to it. Dangle it in front of him. Move it away from him, towards TooRoundTDI's house. Continue until you've arrived at TooRoundTDI's house.

I will be in Vermont celebrating birthdays, wedding anniversarieS - my parents are celebrating the *65th* and doing well, and my brother his 35th.

Suffice it to say, I'm booked. Otherwise, I'd be there!

Have loads of fun!
