Hey Y'all,
I shot a few YouTube videos last week to demonstrate how easy it is to install one of our Sigma 6 Short shift kits on a MK5 or MK6 Common Rail Golf/Jetta, B7 Passat or the upcoming 2013 TDI Beetle. The install is broken up into four short videos:
Part 1: Removing the air box for access to the shifter
Part 2: Removing the stock shifter
Part 3: Installing the Sigma 6 Parts and adjusting the shifter
Part 4: Reinstalling the air box and finishing up
Advantages of the Sigma 6 over other shifters
The Sigma 6 Shifter transforms the feel of the car. It gets rid of the sponginess of the stock VW cable ends that other shifters use and replaces them with billet aluminum cable clamps with teflon lined steel spherical bearings. Very tight tolerances of .001" are held throughout the linkage so you get a very direct feel without harshness.
It just feels right. Get one now!
