Need someone with vag-com in bmore

My wife's 07 2.5 jetta threw code 01314 ECM no signal/no comms. It won't start due to the code. It's at a shop in Catonsville. They never saw this code before and it threw them for a loop. I don't know if they cleared the code. I would like to see if someone can try clearing it with vag-com. Txt me at 401-371-5884 if you can help me out. Thanks Dan

You have a problem with power or wiring to the ECU. I would start by checking relay 109. Just clearing the code will, most likely, not work. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/01314

What should I do with the 109? Just replace it?

And is there a relay 109 on a gasser?

Sorry, missed that it was a 2.5. It is the main power relay for the ECU, so there might be one??

Have you removed the cowl and had a look at the ECU connectors?

It ended up being a bad overlay wiring harness to the ECM.
