Hello all, this is my first post here but I've had my Jetta for 14 years and have always looked here for good info.
I have a 2006 VW Jetta 1.9L TDI 5-speed manual transmission, around 200k miles. Recently I've noticed the gear shifting getting tougher, so I took the car in to a dealership to have the transmission fluid changed. That was this past Friday. Today (Sunday), I had to go out of town and drove 400 miles, parked and checked in to accommodations. Tried to start the car up again to go to the grocery store, and now the gear shift is stuck in gear.
Thoughts? Did the dealership screw up the fluid change? Anything I can do other than have it towed to a dealership here?
