Nearly finished with the first of 2 B4V rebuilds and this one was rusty, so had Redline motorworks pull the shift tower out of my 02A transmission so I could de-rust it in an electrolysis bath since it was so badly rusted. I installed a new South Bend Stage 2 Daily Driver clutch after getting the flywheel turned and replaced the rear main and oil pan seals. This is my first clutch change, btw so go easy. I reinstalled the now pristine shift tower (with new shift carrier and shift lever) and bolted it into the tranny, put that back on the engine (changed input shaft seal as well) and installed a new clutch master cylinder and have new front calipers as well, since I installed new ball joints, tie rods and axles (suspension next when new springs arrive). However before bleeding the hydraulic system I turned the engine over by hand, after a full timing belt replacement, and noticed the axles were turning though the gear shift is in neutral, so concerned I did not get the shift tower back into the correct position, so need help figuring out if all is well before staring the engine for the first time. The front end is still up on jack stands as front brake system is not installed yet. Thanks guys in advance!
