I need help with a Stock 99.5 jetta, a few weeks ago it would just stall out, like its starving for fuel. I have replace fuel filter, checked pickup tube in tank, replaced a vacuum hoses, and recently replace turbo and actuator, cleaned intake/antishudder valve, n75, had head reworked replaced TB. it ran fine for about a week than started the stalling problem. the pump timming is within specs. I get 3 codes EGR intermittent , Glow plug circuit intermittent, and intake pressure intermittent. the first 2 i don't thank are critical, the last one i'm not sure but the vehicle still goes into limp mode occasionally. Like I said I've replaced the vacuum hoses, and the n75. When and when I installed the actuator I set the distance on the adjuster the same as the old one.
one note the inj qty is running about 9, but when motor is at 2000+ rpm the inj qty actual maxs out at 15 but the requested is 26. is this a problem with the inj pump? one other thing the car runs better when its cold after it comes up to temp the power feels weaker. Is it normal for the IP to die slowly? Not sure about the injectors affecting inj qty, but I would think a problem with injectors would be consistent.
