NCS rust locations

I am actively searching for a replacement vehicle for my wife. We have been looking at 2015 Jettas with a 2.0L gas engine. It seems like the Ohio and Indiana areas have a lot of these cars for sale. My experience with the area tells me their cars tend to rust.

With the 2015 Jetta, where specifically should I be looking for potential rust issues? They are all 9 years old now so I assume we now know where the common areas are.

Look for some that did NOT come from the rust belt. Even if they have a few more miles on them.

Although I don't think the NCS is an especially bad car regarding rust, places like Michigan, Ohio, New York, etc. can really cause the undersides to be in bad shape regarding the non-body stuff. Springs, struts, control arms, exhaust, etc.

Plenty out there... I'd sure like it if you let me look it over for you first, if it is somewhat local.

I included '14s in that search, since they are essentially the same car... that year the S got the IRS and rear discs back. There is a silver '14 in that list in KC that only has 21k on it!
