Nav unit swap ?

Will the 2016 nav unit from an SEL fit ... plug-in AND work w/o wiring change(s) ?

Wires this same but unit have Componnet protection, if you swap to other car will lock it imidiatelly.
Only VW can remove it

I didn't realize people bought anything in stores anymore. I thought everything was ordered over the internet.
