This is my Golf. This is a resume of my upgrades:
I was running on a vnt 17, with a g60 vr6 cluth combo, 11mm pump with 205 injectors. it was running great at around 22psi.
In nov. 2009 I found a 2001 engine with only 15000km, I bought a vnt 20, added a peloquin LSD, FMIC, bigger injectors, bully clutch combo, intergrated engineering rods + tchip.
The power was great but I felt that I couldn’t maximize the torque with a front wheel drive.
Did some research and decided to install 4 motions from a TT. The transmission installed was the 5 speed from the TT. It was fast, but to short... perfect for the 1/4mile but not a daily driver!!!
Bought a EFF from England, rebuilt the transmission with all new bearings and reinforce the 2nd gear shift fork... no brainer since I had the transmission in my hands.

Performance/Mechanical
-4motion swap from audi TT
-ERF 6 speed transmission from England with all new bearing
and reinforced 2nd gear shift fork
-Bully cluth and Fidenza pressure plate
-2.5 stainless steel exhaust after downpipe
-Magnaflow muffler
- 11mm fuel pump
-VNT 20 + stainless piping with p-flow.
-ARP forge steel head studs
-Forge Rods Integrated Engineering
-Brembo disque + ceramic pads
- Stage 6 custom ECU tuning
- Firad injector nozzles
- 1.8T front shocks with neuspeed coil
- rear audi TT complet suspension
- Short shifter kit
and more
These I took at the last H2O
More will come next spring!
