My TDI Project Done....Thanks for the Help

I have a 2004 Jetta with a BEW engine, I had a problem with a turbo a while back.......heard a "pop" sound lost power and found the compressor side of the turbine impeller in 3 pieces...... and no compression in 2 cylinders......well I purchased a new long block from BORA (Aaron is great) installed a VNT-17, new brakes, BTS suspension, Audi TT bushings in the control arms, new Tie rod ends, Wave Trac LSD, SEAT Cupra High Density Front Strut Mounts, SEAT Cupra rear axle bushings, Dick Shine rear sway bar, 60 Durometer Engine mounts and Dog Bone, 2 1/2 in exhaust (no cat) and a Custom Stage 4 tune from Malone......all I can say is WOW!!!!!!! fun project and now it is super fun to drive.....thanks for all the help on the forum.....everyone here is really great!!!!!

It depends on your definition of 'done'. Depending on the project, you can change out 4 all-season tires for 4 snow tires, and be done. Next spring is a new project.

Other times, you're sick of it, so you declare victory and you're done. Walk away... let it alone...you're done.

Too many of my projects are the latter. :(

I like reading when people are 'done' and are happy and complete.

However I don't like that your turbo went pop and you lost 2 cylinders and bought a replacement engine... I'm in the same boat. My turbo has gone pop and it's missing on no.3 but hoping it's just hydraulic locked a bit and pushed the head gasket through.

Looks like a good build anyway. Congratulations.
