I recently purchased a 2013 Jetta TDI with a 2.0 diesel motor. I have been doing oil changes every 8k km and following routine maintenance for the past 7 or 8 months. Recently, a check engine light popped on and then went away, followed by a flashing glowplug light which put me into limp mode. it would go on and off occasionally, but now, if I build up some turbo boost, accelerate up a hill, or go anything over 110 kilometres an hour, the glow plug light will flip on and then put me into limp mode. I can reset the limp mode by turning the car off and then on again but it's also throwing codes. its giving me codes P0401, P240F, P0299, and P2002. The car does not make any odd noises, doesn't leak anywhere, my exhaust is clean without any smoke and my oil/coolant isn't going anywhere. would someone be able to tell me what to do to make the car stop going into limp mode or I should just take it to my local VW dealer? I'm pretty handy and am more than willing to fix whatever is wrong with it, I'm just hoping someone here has some pointers. Thanks.
