What next? I have a new temp sensor that is giving me close to actual temps, but my glow plug time is 1.01 units and doesn't change no matter what value I program into VCDS. Yes, I have used both the "test" and "save" buttons. I have gone from the max to the minimum allowed save numbers but the units stays the same. The temp outside was 20 Fahrenheit.

Yes, I logged in with the 12233 pin.

I have the newer computer (GQ) in my 1996 B4V. I had no problem changing the time on my 2002 Jetta, just won't on the B4V.

It should work. I used 32704 as a value in my GQ 1996 Pearl red sedan, and in my white 1997 GLX conversion wagon.
Normal value is 32768 (2 to the 14th power). 32704 is 2 to the 14th, minus 2 raised to the 5th.

I'm hoping you'll expound on the relevance of this.
32768 is half of 65536 which is 2^16, or 1 greater than what a 16-bit unsigned integer can hold. Not sure why VW used the half way point, but due to the fine increment of some of the Adaption values, 16-bit resolution was determined to be necessary. Also surprised that VW didn't just used a signed integer so the range would be from 32767 down to -32768 and the default value of 0 would be used instead of 32768.
