Because of like this threads VW will never have sales like Toyota. I like VW but its always problems with any model on market.
How about Tuareg their batteries under the front seat.

Just sayin'. And they are the most boring, ugly things I've ever seen. IMHO.

recall is not failed on road with broken turbo. That's VW should be done. But those Germans never admit the problem:
same BMW - valve seal on V8 engines
same Benz - wearing valve/chain gear
But you know Toyota is #1 reliable car in the US and more likely in the world across all model including Lexus. I'm not saying that like how they drive.

Sad thing is that the German cars could be as reliable as the Japanese cars, I believe, with some effort.

OP, has your car been in a dealer's garage for 30 days? If so, look at your state's lemon law. You may have remedy.

I have the car back now and it seems to be working fine.
