Do both. I could use the former on my Sedan, It has a few scratches already.tomo366 said:This is what I am putting on my new Baby.....

Just ordered the same color combination and can't wait to get it. It looks so great compared to the Prius I am trading in. The extra space will be most welcomed.tomo366 said:Rotflmao......
The JSW does not come with Chrome tipped tail pipes.......milleraw said:Hey, has anyone received their JSW with chrome tipped exhaust? Mine came bare and the updated VW website is selling this feature as STD. On all trim levels. What gives?
But the VW website shows the JSW having them as a standard item for all trims. Hence my confusion. Us early adopters get the less for our money? Mid-model tweaks? They going to change to the 9W3 also?tomo366 said:The JSW does not come with Chrome tipped tail pipes.......
The ones you have seen are add-ons.
Actually is standard on every gas powered model........This is wrong........milleraw said:But the VW website shows the JSW having them as a standard item for all trims. Hence my confusion. Us early adopters get the less for our money? Mid-model tweaks? They going to change to the 9W3 also?
I know...it is only ~$50. Just seemed odd to drive off the lot, check the website and see something different than what I got.
That is a serious transformation. The car looks great!!Social Casualty said:

If you put a GLI/GTI grill on (very easy) , the Mk 5 looks good.milesstandish said:Wow, Micajah, that looks awesome
I really like the changes VW made from MKV to MKVI
I think they look good. I would like a set on my Passat, but I am just going to get what I have powder coated brilliant black to match car.tdi_tra said:Would like to know everyone's opinion on the 18" Black Karthoum wheels. I'm taking delivery on my 2010 JSW in January. Dealer just notified me that my initial wheel selection was not available on the wagons. So instead of the dealership having me select another wheel, they notified me that the Black Karthoums will be on my vehicle, which are also the most expensive ones, go figure.
Never really been a fan of the blacked out wheel look. Wondering how they look in person. Also wondering the success rate of people swapping wheels out at the dealership lot. Thoughts on the matter?

And I thought I had a long commute! My car is just over a month old and has 2300 miles.Artist said:Hi, I just joined the forum after I purchased my 2010 JSW on 11/23. I love my car! Mine is 6 speed manual, Black on Black, with navigation, panoramic sunroof, sport and protection package and 17" wheels. The buy went extremely well, I was done in 45 minutes with a great price - 28036.00. I drive a lot and already have amassed 2700 miles due to my daily commute of 279 miles round trip. Fortunately, I have averaged 44 mpg using gallons/odometer readings. Very happy.

Wow, and people at work freak out about my 165 mi. RT daily. I rec'd mine on the same day as you, but only have 1600 mi. on mine. Those seats are soooooo much more comfortable than my bug. At my usual 78 mph I was getting about 39 mpg (although to be accurate on the MDI it should be gpm since it says "consumption"...), but once I pulled my foot off the front bumper and held it to 70, I'm getting about the same 44 mpg (.0227 gpm )Artist said:Hi, I just joined the forum after I purchased my 2010 JSW on 11/23. Swapping wheels is ok. Just make sure the car you get them from has low or no mileage. You could end up with the wheels you want on tires that have 5,000 miles on them. If that is the case, get the dealer to credit you for the tire wear.Wondering how they look in person. Also wondering the success rate of people swapping wheels out at the dealership lot.
