274,000 this week…will be getting the 2nd timing belt installed along with replacement of the DPF, EGR and EGR cooler next week. Having issues with regeneration as well as white smoke occasionally from the tail pipe likely pointing to the cooler finally leaking in the emissions system.
Are you paying for all that? Or is it still covered under the Extended Emissions Warranty?

I recently purchased a 2015 Jetta TDI with 196k miles. It had a broken timing belt that was original, previous owner did not know they had to be replaced. It is being repaired and will go to my daughter when complete. Everything in car is original and no modifications.

Yearly bump - I will make an effort to update this post and it’s excel sheet if we have a decent turnout! Hoping all is well for the Forum!

Sitting at 170K on my GSW - did front rotors/pads. SFL weather had chewed them up, along with a baby on way pushed me to change them out. No other issues at this time (fingers crossed).

Thanks for the prod. Our Sportwagen currently has 211,000 miles. Other than a melted sensor, everything has been been routine maintenance in the last yew.

180k on my 2015 Golf TDi S 6M. No major problem so far. I use VAG DPF to monitor regens and oil ash residue now sits at 61g (77%). How long can I expect the DPF to function before it fails? My daily commute is mostly highway (~70mph) and at least 130mi/day.

Update: As of today, car has 237k on the clock. No major problems so far but I now have had to add about 1/2 quart of oil between oil changes. Oil ash residue according to VAG DPF is now 100% @ 80.4g. I am concerned DPF is about to kick the bucket. Still runs fine but regens are now more frequent at around 160 to 200mi apart.

I just turned over 178k. I just replaced the timing belt and had the DPF cleaned (on car). The local dealership wanted $5,300 to replace the DPF, MAF assembly. The DPF cleaning cost $275. Hoping to keep it running past 250k. Malone stage 1.
