My diesel brah
After a few days my system reverted back to correct operation. fader/sub options re-appeared and I could see again the Fender logo on boot up, though this one is random. Sometimes the VW logo appears without the Fender logo. This was mentioned recently, there was a re-flash to fix a specific issue with radio. The flash is restoring Fender systems to the settings of the base sound system.
Go into your settings, is your control for the subwoofer still there?
Holy Crap! I purposely drained my regular fluid and filled the reservoir with RainX because I've had good luck with it in the past. Guess, I'll have to keep my eyes peeled. The dealer should have the Bosch blades. I think I have also seen them at Autozone in the US.
Be careful with RainX. The waxes in the RainX will cause the refill strip to plug up and the car will tell you continually that you are out of fluid.
I have the same seatbelt light/chime issue. The "Airbag Off Light" turns off, the seatbelt light turns on, then the chime starts. Sometimes it turns off, other times I reach over and buckle the passenger seatbelt. The dealer cannot replicate it so of course they will not replace the passenger seat occupancy sensor.I had a dead compressor at 2500 miles in late July also. Very nice for south Louisiana summers.
My current issue that crops up on occasion is I will be driving and the seatbelt light comes on and starts chiming constantly. A restart of the car occasionally fixes it, but other times it fixes itself on its own. Going to bring it in a couple of weeks and get them to look at that as well as the leaky rear washer.
Apart from that, 2 (!!!) tires replaced already due to sidewall punctures (within a week. Grr...) and the ole crop-dusting emissions system, all systems go thus far!
I went to try and tighten the nuts and turns out I don't have the right tools for it. Possibly because I live in the US. Have a 3/8 and 7/16 and the nut is somewhere in between those. Going to have to stop at the hardware store after work. I really want to get rid of that damn sound! I actually have a video of the rattle sound I hear. It will be uploaded when I get home.I had an annoying rattle in my new 2015 Golf TDI when the engine would warm up and under acceleration. The rattle seemed to come from the engine compartment on the firewall. I decided to try to find it myself. It turned out to be the mounting of the pressure boost control solenoid. There are washers that act like a cricket under vibration. About 1/2 turn tightening of the mounting nuts silenced the rattle. It's been 3 weeks and still no rattle. I thought I'd share in case anyone else has a similar problem.

Most vehicles are metric. It's most likely a 10mm nut. I doubt it's an 11mm (virtually nothing is 11mm), but 11mm is still in between 3/8" and 7/16"I went to try and tighten the nuts and turns out I don't have the right tools for it. I do zero work on vehicles so I was very fortunate that auto_junkie provided pictures. You were correct that it was a 10mm nut. Tightened it up before leaving the parking lot and didn't hear the sound on my 35min drive home. I hope it wasn't a fluke and will continue to listen for the rattle. Most vehicles are metric. Mine worked no problem last winter in -30C, sounds like you could just have a faulty unit, of course the issue as always is they have to be able to duplicate it.In cold weather temps the following occur consistently
1. Cannot use screen (pressure sensor no go)
2. Cannot change channel (even with knob)
3. Only volume /on and off function
Over the last year VW has tried to address the issue twice
Thoughts?
Firstly I LOVE my wagon tdi sel (already got a Malone stage 1) but these ARE diesels after all. The block castings of old (big rig/AG) so they take longer to warm up plus it's just bad business not to bring,an engine up to temp. I so damn OCD so as to just let if idle, go do something, then just move it around the driveway. Way to overkill, I know. This aint no gas burner boys.treated right 300k is easily attainable. Best car I've ever had and this is coming from a supercharged, 6spd, 4we Tacoma. It seems until a regen is able to be completed. I may have shorted 2 consecutive attempts to regen. Its 15f outside and I only have a 15min ride to work. This is the second time it has happened, first time it went away after a 20mi trip, this time I haven't had a chance to go anywhere other than work/home yet so it is still on this morning.
Side note on warming up this engine, last night when I got home temp was at about 180 so I sat at idle to see if it would continue to climb, but it actually dropped down to about 170 after 10 minutes. It was 10 outside. Is this to be expected?
It's been almost three weeks and I haven't heard that noise once. It has been getting cold here in Wisconsin so maybe that's the issue as I only have heard it when it's somewhat warm outside.
