I want to upgrade my my mk5 golf 1.9 Without modifications no intention of racing I just want more power car has been mapped basic map
All advice highly appreciated

I heard turbo is a waste of money as it doesn’t bring much performance benefit. I’m new to cars so I have no idea what else to do to make on more powerful.

There is lots to do to make it nicer but no idea what to do to make it have more engine juice.

A tune with possible bigger injectors is a good start.
