These are 16x7 Eagles (yeah.....I know....but it's my wife's car and she likes them) with Exaltos on them. They are heavy=ish but the real problem is that they were polished raw aluminum. I finally got tired of trying to keep them clean and corrossion free so I had a friend with a wheel shop re-polish them, knock them down to a satin finish and powder coat them with clear. Probably more than the wheels cost originally, but are now super low maintenance.
Also, car has Eibach/Bilsten SP Europsort suspension (as per VWAG), but for VR6 so front ride height is as before, rear is down. Delightful handling and decent ride, and with no more than 16s, little chance of road damage. We run the stock 15s with Blizzaks in the winter.
Now, if you want to talk LIGHT: the 15" Speedline magnesium wheels on the MkII behind are flyweight (about as much as the Forged magnesium Fuchs on my 924/M471).
