Been a while since i posted here, but i think im getting back into the mk4 game.

Anyone know where i can find a mk4 wagon tailgate ? Or know of someone.

Plan on purchasing a wagon and the tailgate is trashed.

In great shape is tough to find around here but try 'the source' (GTA) , 'next generation vw parts' (Thorold), Canadian catalyst (London area) a few places to start trying.

I'd avoid Canada Catalyst for sure. Next Generation/Justin tends to have some goodies.

This is an item you won't find easily in good condition.

Yep, tough to find a black hatch. If the one you plan to buy has holes, find a slightly rusted hatch for cheap, sand, prime, paint with a spray can to seal it and put a black wrap over it.

ya that was my thoughts ... the one that is on the car is bad I may make do for now.

I found a silver one in mint shape but wants 300 cash...might have to bite the bullet on it since hatches are so hard to find at least this one I can spary protect after I get it painted black..than I am going to wrap it.

3-4yrs ago I parted my mk4 black golf..got a white mk6 tdi wagon now back into a black mk4 wagon. should have possession of it this week.

need to start sourcing parts...can't do 90hp
