Thanks for responding! That’s my thinking as well but wasn’t sure if the European models had mild trim differences. The fronts would be, but I'm not sure if the wagon rear fender wells are a different shape.
I love your homemade ones! Maybe I’ll do that instead, I actually have some extra truck mudflaps material I could use, that I didn’t like on my Tacoma.Wagon ones are different. I avoided the oem ones because they cause rust, and made cheap diy ones
I made these and love the look.
I can say with confidence the OEM rear mudflaps are different between a Jetta sedan and wagon. I'll search my parts stash to see if I still have any MK4 mud flaps for PN's.
I was just thinking about this post the other day, read it last year - and finally going to try to do it with hopefully a similar outcome - yours look awesome !Wagon ones are different. I avoided the oem ones because they cause rust, and made cheap diy ones
I made these and love the look.
Awesome thank you!Well, you really made me dig! My mudflaps ("Splashguards") go back to 2005 and 2006. I do have a receipt from VW Driver Gear that I have noted were for the fronts, but only an installation diagram for what I think may be the rears. Here's what I see for part numbers:
FRONTS (confirmed) 1J0075111A
REARS (I think) 1J9 075 101 A
I should ask:Wagon ones are different. I avoided the oem ones because they cause rust, and made cheap diy ones
I made these and love the look.
I added a little update in the thread for them after linking it here. Durability gets an A+!I should ask:
How did the plastic of those cutting boards hold up for you ?
