Hello everyone,

I'm parting out my spare ALH and the buyer doesn't want the injection pump.

Is there any easy way to remove the injection pump without disrupting too much?? I realize it is belt driven by the timing belt.

Rotate the engine to TDC, loosen the belt tensioner, remove pump. When the buyer gets the engine, he can just install his pump, rotate it to TDC and it will be ready to go

You don't have to rotate to TDC, just unbolt it and remove it...as long as you don't rotate the crank with the belt off you're fine

While you don’t have to put it at TDC, it does make the next guys job significantly easier
