Mechanical fan bearing replacement labor?

I replaced the alternator pulley and the noise still exists. I'm running out of bearings to replace. I'm guessing now it's the mechanical fan. How many hours of labor is involved? Does the nose need to come off?

My mechanical fan went out at 40,000 miles but the good news is that MoGolf had posted that he did the replacement without pulling the front end.

Well, it's done. $391. Finally it's very quiet. Just the diesel clatter and nothing else. Here's hoping we don't run into another BS-like problem over the next 200K miles.
