So, I picked up a 2013 Basic Manual about 3 weeks ago and I am looking down the road into the future when the warranty runs out and I wear out the first set of tires (Hankook 205 55/16s). The goal is to improve the handling without giving up too much in ride comfort as this is a daily driver.
I am definitely looking at replacing the tires and wheels with 225s in either 17s or 18s in a all season performance tire.
I will probably get the shift linkage kit to tighten up the shifter.
Shocks, springs, sway bars are on the table. Replacing the rear with an independent suspension is off the table. Lowering a little is OK, a lot is not.
Engine tuning is under consideration when the drive train warranty runs out.
Oh yeah - I need to do something with the pedals so I can heel and toe the the classic which is the way I learned it.
