Called on Dec 12 to report the lost dealer card. Still waiting for the replacement...
When I called to inquire about the status of the replacement (the 1-844 number)this past Friday (Jan. 6), I was told that VW did not have any record or log of the Dec. 12 conversation... Not sure what's going on here. My AT&T bill provides indubitable proof that a conversation of appreciable duration took place on Dec. 12, but nothing beyond that (no case # or name of the dude I spoke with).
Any ideas on how to approach this? Thanks!

I called the number to get the cards extended and the person on the line told me that they couldn't do it but gave me another number to call.

The number they gave me was the very number I had called. So in other words, depending on who you get, you'll either have an easy time or a hard time doing this.

Loyalty Card Expiration

My Loyalty card was good through "01/2017" so I went to the dealer to see what I could spend it on. I was hoping to be able find a way to extend it or get stuff that will work with my two other vehicles.

Turns out, they don't carry gift certificates or 0w-20 motor oil. They have a Castrol 5w-40 edge profession oe but wasn't sure if compatible with my truck.

So I left and gave the 844 number a call to get a replacement card to extend the expiration date. The rep said that the card actually expired at noon which was a surprise since this is the last day of the month and it had not ended yet. He thought it was strange that it expired at noon. A replacement card was processed and will be sent in a few weeks minus $5 off the card.
