Low Tire pressure reset

2015 MK 7 Golf
Driving this morning and my tire pressure light came on. I stopped and check all 4 tires and they were are correct with around 34 PSI.

I recently changed out the radio to a RCD330 with carplay and I don't have the option of confirming tire pressure and resetting the low pressure light.

Is there a way to reset ? I have VCDS and I couldn't find how to reset it. Any help will be appreciated.

Do you have reference? I looked on RossTech site and couldn't fine any related post.
I went to the ABS controller module and opened then went to basic settings. I didnt see anything so I exit out... Didn't want to screw up anything, so here I am asking for assistance.

VCDS ---> go to the Radio, then there should be a tab called Long Coding, press that, then go to the Long Coding Helper.

Then it should be labeled, and you scroll with the arrows (or mouse) the up/down and look for some box somewhere that is unchecked that says something about tire pressure monitoring installed. Check that, close the box, then click the "do it" tab, and the Radio will be recoded.

I don't know if that radio even has Long Coding, it may not.

I just checked on this 2012 Golf I have here (no idea which radio it has), and it has the Long Coding Helper in VCDS, so I would think yours does too.

"Around" seems to be "not close enough" on the Mk7 cars. I've had the light come on, go to check the tires, and one just under 2psi different from the other three....and that's enough to throw the error. Seems a little touchy for me.

also why so low on pressure? isn't it supposed to be closer to 38?

I was going to ask that same question, but remembered that the recommended tire pressure on these cars is almost suspiciously low - like 32psi or something.
32-34psi (?!!?)

I (similar to @740GLE from the sounds of it) run at 38psi.

I'm in Helen Ga attending the Alpine Volks Fair, when I return home I'll recheck the pressure. I'm pretty sure the label inside the driver door states 35 psi, but I maybe mistaken. I will check on my return.

The label inside the driver side door states 34 psi on the front tires and 34 psi on the rear tires.
The correct tire pressure now is in the tires.

I am unable to confirm tire pressure through the radio. I replaced the radio 3 months ago and never had an issue until a few days ago.

I replaced the tires 2 weeks ago. No issues until a few days ago.

I went to reset the tire pressure through VCDS:
ABS Brakes, Basic setting
Selected "Reset to factory setting of tire pressure monitoring display"
Then hit "Go"
It comes up "ERROR: Security access required

I also selected:
"Reset tire pressure monitoring display warnings"
Hit "GO"
It comes up "ERROR: Request out of range

Any ideas how to confirm tire pressure with VCDS?

@pebjr Probably a question best asked in the Ross-Tech forum. Did you try entering security access for the ABS module? VCDS should suggest a few possible codes if you hover the pointer over the entry box. Different basic settings require different codes so you may have to try a few.

Security access / login for most typical ABS functions is 20103. Although....apparently there are "others" (to say the least).
The only ones in this pile that ring a bell with all of the ABS messing around I've done are the aforementioned 20103 and 19249. I'd say give those two a try.

Security code 20103 work and I was able to reset it the low tire pressure light.
No warning lights! (for now..... lol)
