Low rpm idle and no throttle

Just did balance shaft delete, timing belt, water pump.

Engine starts a little rough and then idles at a low 560 rpm. Press the accelerator and nothing happens, just the continued idling.

Assuming this is something ecu or injector related. Any ideas?

Question one: do you have proper timing belt service tools?

Question two: was this running bad before the work?

I got it to run with a normal idle, but still a rough start. Gave it some throttle with good response at first going to 2000-3000rpms. Made it above 3000rpms and then it went back to the low idle, not rough though.

It was running perfectly fine before. I also used the crankshaft and camshaft locking tools. The same ones I’ve used from a previous timing belt change.

I looked at the timing belt today to check timing marks and with the camshaft at TDC the crankshaft sprocket mark was about two notches counterclockwise from where the tool should fit. The tensioner was also about a cm off in the counterclockwise direction

Is there anything’s that could cause this aside from me accidentally botching the timing somehow?

Well re timing and tension and runs smooth as ever. New motor mounts feel nice too.

I think it’s possible the tensioner was tensioned counterclockwise instead of clockwise. That’s the only scenario I can think of. If anyone can learn from this, double/triple check everything you do on a timing belt change.

I think I’m going to do a compression and leak test next to see if anything caused damage. Might also pop the valve cover to peak at the lifters too.

I started the car once dies out, start it another time it stays on but idles very low. I press on the gas floor it and dies out, I start it back up slowly accelerate and there is no response, put it in drive starts to roll in idle and dies out, when i have it in drive and hold the brake down once in a while the rpms will jump to 2500. Here is a pic of the codes it pulled up, anyone have this issue before. I'm guessing maybe the throttle position sensor but would that make it idle so rough?
