Where do folks in the south east florida region get their TDIs serviced? After a recent trip to the area I noticed a dearth of TDI gurus but a wealth of VWs/TDIs of all generations! I even saw a few amazingly clean Mk3 Jetta TDIs! I am considering moving my operation to the Stuart area, maybe even further south. Trying to gauge what kind of demand there is.

One of my big concerns after leaving all my gurus in Michigan....has me even thinking of dumping the sportwagen and going with a gasser!

Quite a few TDI around the cape canaveral area where I am but a guru in the area would be wonderful!!!

Keep the TDI! You say there are quite a few TDIs in that area? I would imagine they would be great cars for Florida driving considering the long smooth flat highways and warm climate would help them attain record mileage figures!

Well my mileage isn't great because I keep a 14' paddleboard on the roof and am usually only driving 15 miles to the put in!!! Avg speed for a fill up is only 29 mph!

The joy of being retired!!!

Stuart is a nice place to live, but it takes forever to get into/out of Stuart due to the road system and distance from the center of town to I-95, so I rarely venture there (ever hear of "confusion corner?"). A little further South and you're in Jupiter - much better access, but it is more expensive. There are a lot of Tdi's around here. You will like working on native FL cars - substantially less crusty than NE cars.
I do my own tinkering on the Golf and the Passat is still under warranty, but it would be good to have a guru nearby.
