Looking for B5 Manual Transmission CV Axles

Looking for (used) OEM axle shafts for a B5 sedan with an FHN manual conversion. Let me know what you have via PM or post on this thread.

If you don't have any luck here try local bone yards. All b5 and b5.5 (1998-2005) v6 5 speed axles will be the same.

In @2001 the 4 cylinder 5 speeds got the bigger transmission flange and will also work.

This is fwd models...if you find an 4 motion 5 speed you should probably buy the entire vehicle

There are some posts on here showing the OEM shaft taper a bit towards the ends where the aftermarket are solid diameter.

Also check ebay. There are slways some. I got an oe axle, new, for 85.

Been checking eBay. Willing to pay for OEM / GKN axles in decent shape for M/T model, hard to find. Only option on eBay that I see right now is very rusty.

The reason for needing OE axles goes away with the manual tranny. You will not be stopped at a red light with the transmission in gear and the clutch out. That is when you get the bad vibes with the auto tran. I have after market ones in my manual with no problems.

rock auto has a large list of options including GKN. I am sure many others do also.
